| 16th: Saturday. This morning at Haddenham Fen 12 Wheatears still (4 in field at southern end of Long Drove and 8 by Clayton's Bridge). Bruce Martin |

| 15th: Wheatears seen 15/4/2011 Friday. Ewell Fen 1, Claytons Drove 5, Long Drove (per SS) 2, Foulmire Drove 5, Back Drove 4: total 17. Also 4 Yellow Wagtails. Excellent showing of Cuckooflower in Adventurers Head Drain. PM |
| 10th: A walk by the Old West river found no birds of note but these two spring flowers were showing. Cuckooflower by Old West River, 10.4.2011, and Water Chickweed, Old West River, 10.4.2011.

| 6th: A 7th male Wheatear found Hoghill Drove. In Petrus wood a Chiffchaff calling and Green and GS Woodpeckers busy. Longtailed Tits foraging and Bullfinch pair contact calling. PM |

| 4th: Allistair Berry saw 18 Waxwings on Station Road, Haddenham y'day - on other side of road from house with green wooden facing. I've just looked for them without success on corner with Chewell's Close, but no sign. Plenty of Waxwing droppings on the the pavement though. Simon Stirrup. |
3rd: 6 male Wheatears around Haddenham today 3/4/2011. 3 Long Drove , 2 Back Drove and 1 Hillrow Causeway. SS. PM. ID.  |
| 2nd: Male blackcap feeding in the garden and bathing in the pond. Barbara York Red Kite (untagged) along the river from Aldreth Causeway bridge at about 11am. Also Little Owl along the track to the south and plenty of Corn Buntings singing in the area. A couple of falconers were flying a Peregrine over the fields west of Aldreth (they said it was the last day of their season). A few Lapwing displaying around the fens.
